The OGSA-DAI team welcomes communications about your requirements for what the OGSA-DAI product should do. These can be either functional or non-functional. For example:

  • Extending the range of supported data resources in OGSA-DAI, e.g. Microsoft Access, Fedora, Excel spreadsheets, custom file formats,...
  • Extending the range of activities, e.g.
    • Additional activities for XMLDB resource and collection management or running XUpdate statements.
    • Additional activities for file system resource managemenet, e.g. create, delete, and modify files.
    • Additional activities for data transformation and integration to realise data integration scenarios.
  • Extending support for security infrastructures, e.g. use of OMII-UK WS-Security. -Extending the types of data handled by OGSA-DAI, e.g. support for XML streaming via use of XML events.
  • Extending the range of clients, e.g. GUI-based workflow editor and submission client, a GUI for interacting with relational and XML data resources.
  • Extending support for Web services standards.
