Hi Larry,

As a user of OGSA-DAI you should not need to use this class. Data
resources will be automatically registered with the index service if
you follow the configuration rules in:
http://www.ogsadai.org.uk/docs/WSRF2.1/doc/wsrf/misc/MDSRegistration.h
tml

The only place where I think you would need to use this class was if
you were generating new data resources from activities as described
in:
http://www.ogsadai.org.uk/docs/WSRF2.1/doc/tutorials/factoryactivity/h
owTo.html
If you are doing this then there is no mechanism at the moment for you
to easily specify that the child data resource is to be registered
with an index service.

So to conclude, I do not think you should have to use this class. If
you do then please let us know where are it will be a sign of a
weakness in the extensibility points of OGSA-DAI.

Subject: How to use
uk.org.ogsadai.service.wsrf.sgr.ServiceGroupRegistrationClientWrapper

Hi,
I saw this API from OGSA-DAI that it is possible to use this
uk.org.ogsadai.service.wsrf.sgr.ServiceGroupRegistrationClientWrapper
to
register a data service resource with a local index service. Can
anyone
advise me how can this be done? Here are my questions

1) The resource context obtain just the same way as ResourceContext
context
= ResourceContext.getResourceContext(); ?
2) How do i formulate the EndpointReference to pass to the
ServiceGroupRegistrationClientWrapper?
