Hi Larry,
Looking at the code this should work. Unfortunately I don't have an
MDS service running that would allow me to quickly test it but it
should work. If it does not then it is a bug and we will attempt to
fix it.
You will need to have the appropriate MDS registration file for the
new resource as described in
http://www.ogsadai.org.uk/docs/WSRF2.1/doc/wsrf/misc/MDSRegistration.h

I would like to find out if it is possible to perform
Automatic MDS
services for such data resources.
1) Have a configurable service
2) Data resource deployed at run time, adds to configurable data
service
3) Automatic MDS happens for the new data resource
