Hi all

I'm having another problem at the moment that I could really do with
some help with.

I'm running OGSA-DAI over two linux nodes.

Node 1 with the registry and a gdsf for a Xindice collection running on
one node.
Node 2 with a gdsf on for a xindice collection.
Both these gdsf are configured to register with the registry on 1

I'm utilising these services using a jsp client elsewhere on the
network. The two services on node 1 appear to be working fine. However,
the service factory on node 2 is giving me a headache. When I start the
node, the service doesn't automatically register with the registry, so
the client can't find it! I can access it directly, but I don't really
want to do that! At the moment, to get the service to register, I'm
bringing it's wsdl up through a browser!!!!

Accessing the service on node 2 is also extremely slow......I'm talking
minutes to get my client to register changes.

I'm sure this isn't what's supposed to happen! Is this a configuration
problem on my side? I'm happy the client is ok since I've run it in
another test environment with both factories and the registry on the
same machine, and everything worked fine!!!!

This is a major problem for me because I need to add at least another 6
service factories to register with node 1 for an upcoming demo for our
stakeholders. I can't really go showing them a distributed solution if I
can't get it to function as expected!

I'd welcome any input or suggestions here other then putting everything
on the one node!!!!!!
