I believe - although someone else can hopefully back me up -
that it's just a matter of changing the configuration files, and
ensuring you have the correct JDBC driver.

However, one thing to note is that one of Oracle's standard
information services uses port 8080, so you will need to change
some settings to avoid a port clash.

Someone from Oracle is currently configuring R1.5 to use Oracle
9i and postgres - if you have a specific query, he may be able
to help. I can relay a query to him.
