We also welcome communications about your requirements for
what the OGSA-DAI product should do. These can be either
functional or non-functional. For example:
-
Extending the range of supported data resources in
OGSA-DAI, e.g. Microsoft Access, Fedora, Excel
spreadsheets, custom file formats,...
-
Extending the range of activities, e.g.
-
Additional activities for XMLDB resource and
collection management or running XUpdate statements.
-
Additional activities for file system resource
managemenet, e.g. create, delete, and modify files.
-
Additional activities for data transformation and
integration to realise data integration scenarios.
-
Extending support for security infrastructures, e.g. use
of OMII-UK WS-Security.
- Extending the types of data handled by OGSA-DAI,
e.g. support for XML streaming via use of XML events.
-
Extending the range of clients, e.g. GUI-based workflow
editor and submission client, a GUI for interacting with
relational and XML data resources.
-
Extending support for Web services standards.
If you are planning to or are using OGSA-DAI then we would love to
know about it. Please e-mail
info@ogsadai.org.uk
with the name of your project and a brief description of
what the aims are, how OGSA-DAI fits into these and how
OGSA-DAI might be extended or modified to support these
aims.
